How a Saudi final settlement is worked out

Every part of a Saudi final settlement uses your actual wage — basic plus fixed allowances. The end-of-service award is half a month's wage for each of the first five years and a full month for each year after. If you resign, Article 85 pays nothing under 2 years, a third for 2–5 years, two thirds for 5–10 years and the full award after 10. Unused leave, notice pay and unpaid days are each paid at actual wage ÷ 30.

Actual wage: Basic salary + fixed allowances such as housing and transport.
End-of-service award: Half a month's actual wage per year for years 1–5, a full month per year after.
Article 85: If you resign: none under 2 years, 1/3 for 2–5, 2/3 for 5–10, full after 10.
Leave encashment: Unused leave days × actual wage ÷ 30 (our assumption, stated in the result).
Notice & salary days: Days × actual wage ÷ 30.
