How a Qatar final settlement is worked out

Gratuity in Qatar is at least three weeks (21 days) of basic salary for each year of service, once you've completed a year; daily wage is basic ÷ 30 and part years count pro-rata. Unused leave is paid at basic ÷ 30 a day (our assumption, stated in the result). Notice pay in lieu and unpaid salary days are paid at full wage (basic + allowances) ÷ 30.
