UAE full-time workers get 30 days' annual leave a year once they've completed a year. Between 6 and 12 months of service you earn 2 days for each month, and nothing before 6 months. Leave salary and pay for unused days are both based on basic salary: basic ÷ 30 for each day. Sick leave, after probation, is up to 90 days a year: 15 on full pay, 30 on half pay and 45 unpaid.
