Receiving Clerk

Description

We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our Finance team at Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all hotel deliveries, verifying purchase orders, and maintaining accurate receiving records while ensuring compliance with IHG standards, internal controls, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods, materials, and supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify quantities, quality, specifications, and condition of delivered items before acceptance.
• Record all received goods accurately in the hotel's inventory and receiving systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, and user departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items and follow up with suppliers when required.
• Ensure all receiving documents are complete, properly authorized, and accurately filed.
• Maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock verification as required.
• Ensure compliance with IHG purchasing policies, receiving procedures, and internal control standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
• Perform other finance and receiving-related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.
Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Receiving, Storekeeping, Purchasing, or Hotel Operations.
• Knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control, and purchasing documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or hotel management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while meeting operational deadlines.
