Your CV is scored in 6 areas: Formatting, Keywords, Experience, Education, GCC-Readiness and Overall Strength. Each area is scored out of 100. The Overall score is a weighted average of the other areas.
What do the 6 scoring dimensions mean?+
Formatting checks your layout and whether hiring software can read it. Keywords checks for the words employers in your field search for. Experience checks whether your bullet points show results. Education checks how your degrees and certificates are shown. GCC-Readiness checks what Gulf employers expect, like visa status. Overall combines them all.
Is my CV kept private?+
Your CV is encrypted when it is sent and when it is stored. We keep it in your MenaJobs account for your report and for features like job alerts and the talent directory. We never sell your data. If you have a talent profile, it is public by default so recruiters can find you, and you can hide it at any time. You can delete any CV from My CVs, or email [email protected] to delete your account.
How is the resume score different from the ATS check?+
The ATS check looks at whether the hiring software employers use can read your CV. The CV score is broader: it rates 6 areas, including how strong your writing is, how your education is shown and how well your CV fits the Gulf.
