Arabic-first: the Arabic message is the one to send; the English is there so non-Arabic-speaking colleagues can check it.
How the Arabic messages are written
Every message opens with السلام عليكم and the candidate's title (الأستاذ / الأستاذة) and name, states the role and company, makes one clear request and closes with مع خالص التحية. The wording is Modern Standard Arabic, the professional register across the GCC, and verbs and pronouns follow the gender you choose. The English equivalent sits alongside so non-Arabic-speaking colleagues can check it. Add a mobile number to open the message in WhatsApp or SMS.
- الأستاذ / الأستاذة
- A polite title for a man / woman, similar to Mr / Ms.
- مع خالص التحية
- 'With sincere regards' — a standard professional sign-off.
- Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى)
- The formal Arabic used in business writing across the Arab world.
Key phrases in the templates
| Arabic | Meaning | Used in |
|---|---|---|
| يسعدنا دعوتك لإجراء مقابلة | We'd be pleased to invite you to an interview | Interview invitation |
| لاستكمال إجراءات طلبك | To complete your application | Documents request |
| أتابع رسالتي السابقة | Following up on my earlier message | Follow-up |
| الخطوة التالية | The next step | Next steps |
| قررنا المضي قدماً مع مرشح آخر | We've decided to move forward with another candidate | Not selected |
Before you send
- Type names and places in Arabic for the Arabic message; Latin names inside Arabic text read less naturally.
- Have a native speaker review anything you change beyond the fields.
- Message candidates one by one, on working days, and stop if they ask you to.

Frequently asked questions
Why write recruiting messages in Arabic?
Arabic is the first language of national candidates across the GCC and the everyday business language in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman. A clear, formal Arabic message signals respect, gets read more carefully than an English one, and is expected when you're hiring nationals under Emiratisation, Saudization or Omanisation.
Why does the tool ask whether the candidate is male or female?
Arabic changes words for the person you're addressing — الأستاذ or الأستاذة, تسمح or تسمحين, يناسبك or يناسبكِ. Getting it wrong reads as careless or machine-translated. Choose the form that matches the candidate; it only changes the Arabic wording.
Should I start with السلام عليكم?
In formal recruiting messages across the Gulf, السلام عليكم followed by the title and name is the standard, respectful opening, and these templates use it. The close مع خالص التحية (with sincere regards) keeps the tone professional for both men and women.
Are the messages in Gulf dialect?
No. They are in Modern Standard Arabic with a light, polite tone — the register used in professional email and WhatsApp across the GCC. Dialect is fine once a conversation is going, but a first message in standard Arabic avoids sounding too casual or out of place in another country's dialect.
What does the English version do?
It's a faithful equivalent so colleagues who don't read Arabic — the hiring manager, an agency partner — can check what's being sent. Send the Arabic; keep the English for your records.
