Senior IT Business Analyst

JASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead the analysis and documentation of complex business processes, working closely with stakeholders to develop IT solutions that meet strategic objectives. You will provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and objectives.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and design documents.
• Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure shared understanding and resolve issues.
• Support testing activities by developing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis methodologies.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in business analysis within IT environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex requirements gathering and project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
