Security Officer

We are currently seeking a Security Officer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

Job Purpose

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company premises, employees, visitors, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves patrolling the site, monitoring access points, observing CCTV, reporting incidents, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain security and detect suspicious activity.

• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and materials.

• Check identification, verify authorizations, and ensure only permitted persons enter restricted areas.

• Observe CCTV and security systems, and report alarms, breaches, or unusual behavior.

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in a calm and professional manner.

• Prepare daily security logs, incident reports, and handover notes.

• Report theft, vandalism, trespassing, safety hazards, and policy violations immediately.

• Assist emergency services when required and follow company emergency procedures.

• Ensure doors, gates, windows, and sensitive areas are secured during and after shifts.

• Support loss prevention and safety compliance across the premises.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in security, guarding, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response.

• Good communication and observation skills.

• Ability to remain alert and act responsibly under pressure.

• Physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and logging.

Preferred Requirements

• Security guard license or certification, where applicable.

• Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control systems.

• Knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures.

Working Conditions

• Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• May require standing, patrolling, and occasional emergency response.

• Work may be indoors, outdoors, or across multiple site locations.

• Security Supervisor / Security Manager / Site Manager
