We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Salesforce Product Owner to join our team on a 3-month onsite contract in Abu Dhabi.
The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce enhancements and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience working with Salesforce, strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, and the ability to manage product backlogs, user stories, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear functional requirements.
- Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Architects, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, bug fixes, and technical requirements based on business value and urgency.
- Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team.
- Support UAT, validate delivered features, and ensure solutions meet agreed business requirements.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure Salesforce configurations and customizations address business needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes, automation, and user experience.
- Track delivery progress, dependencies, risks, and outstanding requirements.
- Support documentation, release planning, and stakeholder communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant, or similar role.
- Proven experience working on Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Salesforce, preferably Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of CRM processes such as Sales, Customer Service, Lead Management, Account Management, and Opportunity Management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
- Experience working closely with Salesforce Developers and technical teams.
- Good understanding of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities.
- Experience supporting UAT and validating delivered solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform, or Sales Cloud certification.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data models and automation.
- Experience working with external Salesforce implementation partners.
- Previous experience in consulting or client-facing environments.
Requirements
