Description
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team at Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving hotel revenue by developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and government entities. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maximizing occupancy and revenue, and representing the hotel in accordance with IHG brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, government, leisure, and group market segments.
• Manage and grow assigned key accounts while maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to promote the hotel's products and services.
• Negotiate corporate agreements, group contracts, and room rates within approved commercial guidelines.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while contributing to the hotel's overall revenue objectives.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts that meet client requirements and maximize business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth coordination of confirmed business.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and recommend effective sales strategies.
• Represent the hotel at exhibitions, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to increase market awareness.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, account production, and pipeline updates using CRM and hotel systems.
• Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and business updates for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, hotel policies, and commercial procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, including at least 2 years in a sales role within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, government, leisure, and group sales segments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems such as Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM platforms.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and deadlines.
