Job Purpose
The Motion Graphic Designer creates animation and moving-image content across the company’s corporate brand, projects, products, and marketing channels. Reporting to the Creative Director, the role translates creative concepts into compelling motion graphics, campaign films, product explainers, architectural sequences, and screen content that communicate the brand with clarity and impact.
The role combines strong graphic design foundations with 2D/3D animation, compositing, and visual storytelling, delivering premium, cinematic work with refined typography, sophisticated pacing, and a consistently high production standard. It requires someone who can develop an idea through treatments, storyboards, and style frames, then carry it through to polished production, with careful attention to movement, pacing, typography, sound, and detail.
Working closely with Graphic Design, Content, the Content Creator / Videographer, Digital Marketing, and Events, the Motion Graphic Designer develops content for social media, websites, interactive presentations, digital advertising, launches, and customer experience spaces.
Key Responsibilities
1. Motion Concepts & Visual Storytelling
- Interpret briefs and develop motion concepts aligned with brand positioning, audience needs, and campaign objectives.
- Create treatments, storyboards, animatics, and style frames to communicate proposed approaches.
- Translate technology, agentic AI, wellbeing, and real estate propositions into clear visual narratives.
- Recommend animation techniques and production approaches appropriate to the brief, budget, and timeline.
- Present ideas to the Creative Director and develop concepts through feedback.
- Research relevant references across film, design, technology, architecture, and digital culture.2. Animation & Brand Motion
- Produce animation using typography, graphic elements, illustrations, imagery, and approved brand assets.
- Apply and develop the brand’s motion language across transitions, reveals, pacing, and visual behaviour under the Creative Director’s guidance.
- Animate diagrams, information graphics, product features, and customer journeys.
- Create reusable motion templates and components for recurring content.
- Prepare design files for animation and collaborate with Graphic Designers on assets suited to movement.
- Maintain consistency across corporate, project, product, and partner content.3. Campaign, Product & Architectural Content
- Produce premium motion assets and cinematic brand films for corporate campaigns, project and product launches, social media, and digital advertising, with visual standards appropriate to a luxury real estate and technology brand.
- Develop explainers and demonstrations that make product capabilities and customer benefits understandable.
- Combine approved architectural renders, CGI sequences, footage, and graphics into engaging project narratives.
- Work with Design, Development, and Technology stakeholders to confirm the accuracy of representations through the agreed approval process.
- Create short-form edits, teasers, cutdowns, and variations from approved campaign content.
- Adapt storytelling to different audiences, platforms, and viewing contexts.4. Compositing & Post-Production
- Combine live-action footage, animation, CGI, and visual effects into cohesive sequences.
- Carry out compositing, tracking, masking, keying, and cleanup as required.
- Collaborate with the Content Creator / Videographer on titles, graphics, transitions, and finishing.
- Integrate approved music, sound effects, and voiceovers with appropriate timing and levels.
- Maintain consistent colour, image quality, and visual finish across source materials.
- Independently take approved concepts through animation, compositing, sound integration, finishing, and delivery; coordinate external specialists for complex photorealistic architectural CGI or production requirements beyond internal capabilities.5. Interactive Presentations & Event Screens
- Create animated sequences for interactive presentations, digital sales tools, websites, and product demonstrations.
- Work with designers and developers on motion assets, transitions, and implementation requirements.
- Produce content for launch screens, exhibition displays, sales galleries, and customer experience spaces.
- Coordinate with Events and audiovisual suppliers on screen dimensions, playback specifications, looping, and delivery formats.
- Test content in the intended environment where practical and resolve playback or formatting issues.
- Ensure motion supports readability, usability, and the overall customer experience.6. Technical Delivery & Quality Control
- Produce platform-specific versions across aspect ratios, resolutions, durations, and file formats.
- Balance visual quality with file size, rendering time, and playback performance.
- Check typography, timing, transitions, sound synchronisation, and export settings before review.
- Follow approval processes and ensure only approved versions are released.
- Maintain organised project files, linked assets, templates, and final exports.
- Document licensed assets and coordinate usage requirements with the relevant team.
- Flag technical constraints and production risks early.7. Collaboration & Creative Development
- Manage assigned briefs and communicate progress, dependencies, and capacity to the Creative Director.
- Work with Content on scripts, narrative structure, and on-screen messaging.
- Use feedback from Digital Marketing and Social Media to improve hooks, pacing, formats, and content effectiveness.
- Contribute ideas during campaign planning and creative reviews.
- Apply approved AI-assisted video and emerging production tools where they improve creative output or efficiency, validating results for accuracy, consistency, intellectual property compliance, and suitability for the company’s premium positioning.
- Recommend workflow improvements that increase efficiency while maintaining creative quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or an equivalent professional portfolio.
- 5–8 years of professional motion design and animation experience, including independent ownership of premium brand and campaign productions.

- Experience developing storyboards, style frames, and animatics.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, composition, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience combining live-action footage, CGI, graphics, and sound.

- Experience producing assets for social media, websites, interactive presentations, and event screens.
- Real estate, architectural visualisation, technology, luxury, or hospitality experience is preferred.
- UAE market experience and Arabic motion typography knowledge are advantages.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted video workflows, such as Runway, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent tools, with sound judgement on quality control, rights, brand accuracy, and when traditional animation or specialist CGI is preferable.
