Meter Reader

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of meters to accurately record energy consumption data
• Collect and analyze meter data to ensure billing accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve meter-related issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of energy measurement systems
• Manage and maintain accurate records of meter readings
• Perform routine maintenance on meters and report any faults or damages
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing meter reading activities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in the oil and energy industry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using handheld devices and computer software for data recording and analysis
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to meter reading and energy measurement systems
