Commercial Manager - HHH | MAF Retail | Head Office KSA

ROLE SUMMARY

The Commercial Manager - HHH is responsible for leading the commercial strategy for the HHH category, including Home Care, Household, and Hardware products. The role drives sales growth, profitability, category development, sourcing excellence, supplier partnerships, pricing strategies, and assortment optimization while ensuring product availability, customer value, and an exceptional shopping experience across all stores.

ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the HHH category to achieve sales, margin, and growth objectives.
• Manage category assortment, pricing, promotions, and seasonal plans to maximize category performance and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to secure the best product range and competitive commercial terms.
• Lead supplier negotiations, annual trading agreements, joint business plans, and promotional funding initiatives.
• Monitor category performance including sales, gross margin, market share, stock availability, inventory turnover, and profitability.
• Drive assortment reviews and category optimization initiatives based on customer insights, market trends, and business needs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Replenishment, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure effective execution of category plans.
• Analyze competitor activities, emerging trends, and consumer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
• Introduce new products, develop innovative category solutions, and strengthen the overall customer value proposition.
• Ensure category plans align with business objectives, customer expectations, and market opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Commercial, Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or Procurement roles within HHH, General Merchandise, Retail, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Home Care, Household, Hardware, category management, pricing, promotions, and supplier management.
• Proven experience in commercial negotiations, annual trading agreements, assortment planning, and category development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate sales performance, margins, inventory, profitability, and market trends.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
