Lifeguard

We’re looking for a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests at the pool and recreational areas. As part of our IHG family, you’ll monitor aquatic activities, respond quickly to emergencies, and promote a safe and enjoyable environment, upholding IHG’s high standards for guest care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor guests in and around the pool and recreational water areas to prevent accidents.

Enforce all safety rules and regulations consistently.

Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescue and first aid procedures.

Conduct regular safety inspections of pool areas and equipment.

Educate guests about pool safety and usage guidelines.

Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents and safety checks.

Collaborate with recreation and security teams to ensure overall guest safety.

Attend regular training and maintain required certifications.

Key Skills & Experience

Certified lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience as a lifeguard preferred.

Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
