The Lead People Officer – store based is responsible for delivering a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor law, and supporting strategic initiatives in engagement, onboarding, ER, and deployment. This role acts as a key liaison between store teams, regional leadership, and head office functions to embed the Employee Value Proposition and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Engagement & EVP
Support implementation of the Employee Value Proposition (Discover) through store visits, focus groups, and communication campaigns.
Coordinate engagement activities such as town halls, recognition programs, and surveys; analyze feedback and recommend improvements.
2. Employee Relations & Compliance
Handle ER cases in line with company policy and Kuwait labor law.
Ensure accurate documentation for investigations and disciplinary actions.
Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.
3. Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate records and dashboards for recruitment, onboarding, ER cases, and engagement metrics.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and labor law compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office tools.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition is a must
Requirements
