Job Purpose

The Junior Graphic Designer supports the creation and production of visual assets across the company’s corporate brand, projects, products, and marketing channels. Reporting to the Graphic Designer, the role turns approved concepts and briefs into accurate, engaging designs for social media, digital campaigns, presentations, websites, and selected physical materials.

This is a junior role for someone with a strong design foundation, a creative portfolio, and an eagerness to develop their skills. It combines everyday production and artwork adaptation with opportunities to contribute original ideas under the guidance of the Graphic Designer and Creative Director.

The role requires a quick learner with an eye for typography, composition, and detail, alongside an interest in technology, motion, and interactive design. Working with Content, Motion Design, and Marketing colleagues, the Junior Graphic Designer helps keep creative output consistent, organised, and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development & Creative Support

• Create layouts and visual assets from approved briefs, concepts, and brand guidelines.
• Support the development of mood boards, visual references, and initial design explorations.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, social content, and brand applications.
• Apply feedback accurately and ask questions where requirements need clarification.
• Develop an understanding of how design choices support different audiences and communication objectives.2. Digital Assets & Campaign Adaptations

• Design social media graphics, digital advertisements, email graphics, and straightforward website assets.
• Adapt approved campaign artwork across platforms, dimensions, and placements.
• Support the design of digital fact sheets, infographics, invitations, and sales materials.
• Maintain readability, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency across formats.
• Prepare and export assets according to the required specifications.3. Presentations & Interactive Design Support

• Assist with layouts for interactive presentations, digital sales tools, and product communications.
• Organise text, imagery, and graphics into clear, engaging sequences.
• Support the creation of Figma layouts, reusable components, and simple prototypes.
• Prepare static assets for motion and interactive specialists.
• Check implemented layouts against approved artwork and flag inconsistencies.4. Image Preparation & Selected Print Materials

• Source visual references and approved imagery under the Graphic Designer’s guidance.
• Carry out basic retouching, cropping, resizing, background removal, and colour adjustments.
• Assist with invitations, stationery, signage, packaging, and other selected physical applications.
• Prepare artwork using supplied templates and production specifications.
• Check image resolution, dimensions, margins, and export settings before review.5. Quality Control & File Management

• Proof artwork for alignment, typography, formatting, spelling, dates, and consistency with supplied copy.
• Submit work for review and approval before release.
• Maintain clear file names, organised folders, and accurate version records.
• Keep editable source files, linked assets, and final exports accessible to the team.
• Update templates and shared asset libraries as instructed.6. Collaboration & Professional Development

• Coordinate assigned tasks with Content, Motion Design, and Marketing colleagues.
• Track deadlines and communicate progress, missing inputs, or delays promptly.
• Learn new tools and techniques through feedback, research, and practical application.
• Explore approved AI-assisted tools with guidance and review outputs carefully before use.
• Build skills in digital design, motion principles, prototyping, and production.
• Take increasing ownership of straightforward briefs as capability develops.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant design experience; substantive internships or freelance work may contribute towards this experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating creativity, typography, layout, and an understanding of visual hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with Figma and an interest in digital and interactive design.
• Basic understanding of image preparation, file formats, and artwork production.
• Interest in technology, AI, motion graphics, and emerging design approaches.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Real estate or UAE experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Arabic typography knowledge is an advantage.
