The Investment Manager will be responsible for evaluating and managing investment opportunities, monitoring the company’s investment portfolio, and supporting investment transactions and strategic initiatives.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will focus on investment analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, M&A and transaction execution, portfolio performance, and investment recommendations to support informed decision-making and maximize returns.
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities and prepare financial, commercial, and feasibility analyses.
- Conduct market and sector research to identify attractive investment opportunities locally and regionally.
- Develop and review financial models, including NPV, IRR, ROI, payback period, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
- Manage and monitor the company’s investment portfolio, track performance, and recommend actions to maximize returns.
- Participate in M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures from initial evaluation through transaction closing.
- Lead and coordinate financial, legal, commercial, operational, and technical due diligence processes.
- Assess investment risks and recommend appropriate mitigation, restructuring, or exit strategies.
- Support deal structuring, financing alternatives, cost of capital analysis, and negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, investment funds, banks, developers, advisors, and strategic partners.
- Prepare investment proposals, reports, and presentations for the CFO, senior management, and Investment Committee.
- Monitor existing investments, analyze performance against approved plans, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation of investment policies, governance frameworks, delegated authorities, and investment approval procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment, portfolio management, financial services, transactions, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in an investment management role.
- Proven track record in evaluating and executing investments and transactions with measurable outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and due diligence.
- Strong knowledge of investment valuation, financial modeling, feasibility studies, portfolio management, and risk-return analysis.
- Experience in deal structuring, financing, and working with banks, investors, or financial institutions.
- Experience in investment, financing, or real estate development is preferred.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Investment, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
