Eram Talent is hiring for Instrument Technicians for one of their prestigious petrochemical client in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing plant instrumentation—including electronic, pneumatic, and safety-critical systems—to ensure safe and reliable refinery operations.
Responsibilities
- Safety & Maintenance: Follow plant safety standards, recognize hazards, carry out preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, and maintain clean work areas and workshop tools.
- Troubleshooting & Overhauling: Diagnose and repair pneumatic/electronic instrument issues. Overhaul control valves, controllers, Rosemount smart transmitters, boilers, and furnaces.
- Calibration & Loop Tuning: Calibrate plant equipment to ISO standards, tune field controllers/PID settings, and service analytical instruments (O2, CO, CO2, pH, and conductivity meters).
- Critical Systems Maintenance: Test safety-critical devices, Emergency Shutdown (ESD) interlocks, turbine/compressor instrumentation, Bently Nevada monitoring systems, and fire/flame detection systems.
- Technical Drawings: Read and interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and instrument loop drawings.
- Education: 2-year Technical Diploma or Industrial Trade Training Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of hands-on work experience as an Instrument Technician in a refinery or petrochemical plant.
- Documentation: Experience certificate from a process or construction company.
- Language: Good command of English (ability to read, write, and speak clearly).
