Overview Of The Role:

The Emirati Senior Financial Analyst is central to driving the financial performance of the Volvo brand within the Finance division. The position requires managing budgets and forecasts, preparing detailed management reports, conducting thorough performance analysis, and performing regular cash flow forecasting. Success in this role will contribute to optimizing working capital and support strategic decision-making by evaluating brand-level financial performance. The Financial Analyst will also interact with global finance teams and collaborate with business heads to ensure financial accuracy and effective budget management across the division.

What You Will Do:

Budget & Forecasting

• Manage division and activity level P&L budgeting and forecasting.

• Review and forecast balance sheet.

• Conduct model level gross margin forecasting and variance analysis.

• Upload financial forecast in the reporting tool SAC.

• Prepare forecast pack for management review.

Financial Reporting

• Support team in monthly books close.

• Analyse actual performance for variance analysis against forecast.

• Prepare monthly management pack including operational KPIs with detailed analysis and commentaries.

• Report on Inventory, Trade Receivables, WIP, Volvo Core and other financial and operational reports using Alteryx tool.

• Conduct detailed service maintenance contract report for gold contracts.

• Perform cost benefit analysis on a regular basis to improve business expenses related to freight, interest cost, lease vehicles, etc.

Yearly Cash Flow Budgeting

• Create comprehensive annual cash flow budget at brand level to determine funding requirements.

• Forecast unfunded limits (LC/BG).

• Review annual funding requirement with Global Treasury Center (GTC).

• Upload annual cash flow budget in Anaplan.

Fortnightly Cash Flow Forecasting

• Direct cash flow forecast for all I.E. entities.

• Submit cash flow forecast in Anaplan.

• Review forecast with Global Treasury Center (GTC).

• Timely highlight any substantial variance in funding requirement vs. budget to business heads.

• Collaborate with business heads to develop plans for closing the funding gap.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Proficient in forecasting and budgeting techniques.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Able to collaborate effectively with global teams and business heads.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Qualified in Finance or Accounting (CA, CPA, CFA, MBA).

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A function.

• Strong understanding of forecasting methods and cash flow concepts/principles.

• Excellent communication, analytical, written, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to work with global finance teams.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong capabilities in complex financial modelling.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of SAP.
