Data Availability, Senior Specialist

Master Works is seeking a Data Availability, Senior Specialist to support the effective management, accessibility, and availability of organizational data.

The role will contribute to data management initiatives, assess compliance with relevant data requirements, and support projects that enhance data accessibility and governance. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is effectively managed, accessible, and aligned with organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data availability and data management practices.
• Manage and contribute to projects related to data accessibility, availability, and management.
• Assess compliance with applicable data management requirements, policies, and controls.
• Prepare compliance assessments, reports, and recommendations for improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of data management policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with business, IT, data, and other stakeholders to identify and address data availability requirements.
• Monitor data management activities and support the identification and resolution of data-related issues.
• Contribute to improving data accessibility, usability, and availability across the organization.
• Support data management governance activities and ensure alignment with organizational policies and standards.
• Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and support cross-functional data initiatives.
• Stay up to date with developments, standards, and best practices in data management and data governance.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data availability, data management, data governance, or a related field.
• Experience in project management and delivering data-related initiatives.
• Practical experience and knowledge of data management principles, processes, and practices.
• Experience in compliance assessment, monitoring, and reporting is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of data management and data governance concepts.
• Good understanding of data availability, accessibility, and management practices.
• Ability to assess compliance against data-related requirements, policies, and controls.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to translate findings into clear recommendations.
