Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee the execution of multiple construction projects, with a strong focus on on-site operations, technical quality, subcontractor management, and engineering team leadership.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s site engineers and ensuring that all subcontractors execute their works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, quality standards, and project schedules.

This is a field-based role and requires a highly technical and hands-on construction professional who is capable of identifying execution issues, coordinating different trades, resolving technical problems, and driving projects toward successful completion.

Key responsibilities include managing site engineering teams, supervising subcontractors across all disciplines, coordinating civil, architectural and MEP works, monitoring construction progress, reviewing workmanship quality, resolving site conflicts, controlling sequencing between trades, monitoring material requirements, and ensuring that works are properly completed before inspection and handover.

The Construction Manager will also conduct regular site inspections, lead site coordination meetings, monitor subcontractor performance, identify delays and risks, implement recovery actions when required, and provide management with clear progress updates and recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with a main contractor or general contracting company.
• Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors across different construction disciplines.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, architectural, finishing and MEP coordination works.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, site execution methods, drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Strong experience in building and residential construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage and lead engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills on site.
• Ability to identify construction defects and technical issues before works are concealed or handed over.
• Strong knowledge of project schedules, progress monitoring and recovery planning.
• Experience reviewing subcontractor progress and completed works prior to payment certification.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Must be comfortable working primarily on construction sites rather than in an office-based role.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.Preferred candidate profile: A hands-on construction professional with strong technical capability and equally strong leadership skills, preferably someone who has worked for a Main Contractor / General Contractor and has directly managed engineers and multiple specialized subcontractors.
