The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Commis II (Cold Kitchen) to join our extraordinary team!
Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai’s world leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay include 275 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
As a Commis Chef you are responsible to assist the Demi Chef in preparing and presenting cold dishes for the hotel’s outlets, banquets and room service.
Day to day, that means prepping salads, dressings, sandwiches, cold appetizers, mezze, canapés, cold cuts, cheese platters and fruit displays, and setting up and replenishing cold buffet counters, especially for breakfast and events.
To follow standard recipes and plating guides so every dish is consistent.
At all times you must be representative of the qualities of delivering Holiday Inn service standards. To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
It is not just about completing tasks and doing the work! We are looking for personality, originality, creativity, focus and a passion to deliver great results directly and via the whole team!
Previous experience in similar role in a hotel is preferred. Fluency in English is a must, additional languages is an added advantage. Communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.

Requirements
- •Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel is preferred
- •Fluency in English is a must
- •Additional languages are an added advantage
