Job Overview:
The Pipeline Welding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all welding operations with optimal performance of welding equipment, consumables, spares and personnel offshore/onshore pipeline construction. The position focusses on ensure pipeline weld integrity by ensuring welding activities are executed in compliance to project specifications, welding procedure, and project procedures. They provide feedback to improve the welding procedure to ensure high productivity and consistent weld quality during procedure qualification test and pipeline construction. The role ensures coordinating multidisciplinary teams and interface with key stakeholders such as Marine; Quality, Offshore field Engineer/ Production Engineer, PPG welding Lead, NDT lead, NDT Supervisor, Coating supervisor, and equipment lead to achieve project objectives. The Welding supervisor shall ensure compliance with project procedures, optimizes resources, and mitigates risks to deliver pipelines as per MDR safety and quality requirements on schedule and within budget. Welding supervisor is accountable for the Welding station activities during project execution with respect to Welding readiness, start-up, production KPI, minimize downtime and Lesson learned.
Requirements
- •Experience in offshore/onshore pipeline construction
- •Knowledge of welding procedures and project specifications

Responsibilities
- •Oversee all welding operations and equipment performance
- •Ensure pipeline weld integrity and compliance with project procedures
- •Provide feedback to improve welding procedures for high productivity
- •Coordinate with Marine, Quality, Engineering, NDT, and Coating teams
- •Optimize resources and mitigate risks to deliver pipelines on schedule
- •Manage welding station activities including readiness and start-up
- •Monitor production KPIs and minimize downtime
- •Document and implement lessons learned
