VP - Finance | MAF Retail | UAE Head Office

ROLE SUMMARY

Vice President - Finance is responsible for leading MAF Retail’s finance function and setting strategic directions and annual objectives. The role holder is also responsible for overseeing the development of the annual business plan and leading the function’s strategy to achieve business objectives.

ROLE PROFILE

Participate in setting and reviewing MAF Retail’s strategy in collaboration with the MAF Retail’s management, in addition to strategic objective, business plans and budgets needed to achieve.Assess the finance function’s capabilities in terms of resources including: technology, processes, and people, thus ensuring the availability of the required resources needed to realize MAF Retail’s strategies.Lead the financial planning and budgeting across the company, in order to set financial plans and budgets that are in-line with MAF Retail’s strategic objectives and action plans.Collaborate with department’s heads on setting their annual objectives, business plans and budgets through cascading down from the department’s objectives, business plan, and budget.Review and discuss departments’ budgets with the heads of departments in order to reach a mutually agreed upon budget that balances between department’s needs, actions plans and MAF Retail’s financial position.Review and approve consolidated and individual entities’ financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly), consisting of but not limited to, Income statements, balance sheet statements, cash flow statements and change in owners’ equity statement.Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting in the company are as per the International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance
• 10+ years of finance experience, including managerial-level responsibilities.
• 5+ years of professional experience in retail industry.WHAT WE OFFER
