Who We Are
Fueled by passion, KAYALI was founded in 2018 by beauty mogul and fragrance fanatic, Mona Kattan. Translating to ‘my imagination' in Arabic, KAYALI provides a modern fragrance experience inspired by Mona's rich Middle Eastern heritage and the art of layering scents to help you create your mood; where sharing scents is a ritual and smelling good is both an act of goodwill and self-love. Mona collaborates with some of the world's most renowned perfumers and sources the finest ingredients to create unique juices that are infinitely memorable, long-lasting, and cruelty-free. Each luxurious fragrance is an ode to true craftsmanship and tells a special story, from the addictive notes to the multi-faceted jeweled bottles.
Our Mission
To make everyone feel like the diamond they are! To build a global community of fragrance lovers through the power of scent and by providing them with the most innovative & luxurious fragrances, education and sharing our Middle Eastern fragrance rituals with the world.
Summary
Packaging and supply chain regulation is changing fast, and we need someone to help us keep up. In this role you'll be our in-house expert on PPWR, EUDR, SB54, UK RAM, the EU Forced Labour Regulation and whatever comes next. You'll take dense, sometimes unclear rules and work out what they mean for us in practice. You'll also make sure we're acting on them in an organised way and get the most from the consultants who support us. If you like finding smarter ways to work, including with AI, you'll fit right in.
Objectives
- Regulatory register in place. A complete, prioritised register covering PPWR, EUDR, SB54, UK RAM, the EU Forced Labour Regulation, ESPR, Digital Product Passports, green claims rules and EPR, showing what each means for us, key deadlines, owners and agreed actions.
- Horizon scanning set up. A simple, repeatable way of spotting new and changing regulation early and flagging what it means for the business, which continues after the assignment ends.
- PPWR packaging documentation audit-ready. Declarations, certifications, reporting and traceability evidence are complete, current and held in one organized repository.
- EPR registrations and reporting are up to date in every market.
- Support the implementation of new EUDR compliance programme, working with Packaging, NPD, Procurement and Logistics.
- Recyclability and design requirements agreed. Working with the Packaging team, recyclability assessments are complete and design requirements are documented for each market we sell in.
- Readiness plan for upcoming rules. A gap assessment and roadmap for the EU Forced Labour Regulation, ESPR and Digital Product Passports across our merchandise and supply chain, with owners and timelines.
