We are looking for a skilled and organized Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist to join the operations team of a growing company operating in the FMCG and beverage manufacturing industry. You will play a key role in managing demand forecasting, production planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure raw materials and packaging are available to support production requirements while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste and unnecessary costs.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, working closely with suppliers, co-packers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to ensure smooth production planning, timely replenishment, and efficient inbound and outbound operations. You will also monitor inventory performance, identify potential shortages or excess stock, and support effective supply chain planning to maintain product availability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage demand forecasting, production planning, and replenishment to maintain healthy stock availability and align inventory with business requirements.
- Manage procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, and other production requirements, ensuring timely purchasing and cost efficiency.
- Source suppliers, request quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate terms to ensure competitive costs, reliable quality, and timely deliveries.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, material availability, and any supply-related issues.
- Coordinate with co-packers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to ensure smooth production scheduling and efficient inbound and outbound product flow.
- Monitor stock cover, slow-moving inventory, expiry dates, and potential shortages, taking proactive action to minimize waste and prevent stockouts.
- Track material consumption against production plans and identify discrepancies, unusual usage patterns, or potential supply risks.
- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records, ensuring stock movements, purchase orders, and material requirements are properly documented.
- Monitor supply chain performance, identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory efficiency, and procurement processes, and flag potential operational risks.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement and inventory control.
- Previous experience in FMCG, food and beverage (F&B), beverage production, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and replenishment.
- Strong understanding of raw material and packaging procurement, supplier management, and purchase order processes.
- Experience monitoring stock levels, material consumption, stock cover, expiry dates, and reorder requirements.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, co-packers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify supply risks, and support data-driven planning decisions.
- Good commercial awareness, including supplier negotiations, cost control, and procurement efficiency.
- Comfortable working with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, or similar supply chain tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with strong English proficiency; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate material shortages, manage replenishment needs, and maintain continuity of supply.
