About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Supervisorto join the Sports & Leisure Team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Supervising the daily operation of sports, fitness, and leisure facilities
• Leading, supporting, and motivating sports and leisure team members
• Allocating daily duties and monitoring staff performance
• Ensuring guests receive a high standard of customer service
• Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and operational issues professionally
• Supervising sports activities, fitness programs, recreational activities, and events
• Ensuring facilities and equipment are clean, safe, organized, and ready for use
• Carrying out regular facility, equipment, and safety checks
• Ensuring staff follow health and safety procedures and emergency procedures
• Responding appropriately to accidents, incidents, and emergencies
• Monitoring bookings and ensuring courts, activity areas, and facilities are used efficiently
• Coordinating with instructors, coaches, lifeguards, maintenance, housekeeping, security, and other departments
• Monitoring stock levels for sports equipment, uniforms, towels, and other operational supplies
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment and following up on maintenance requirements
• Supporting staff training, inductions, and development
• Preparing staff rosters and helping ensure adequate staffing levels for each shift
• Maintaining accurate operational records, incident reports, checklists, and other documentation
• Supporting the organization and delivery of tournaments, competitions, classes, and special events
• Promoting sports and leisure programs, memberships, activities, and services to guests
• Ensuring company policies, operating procedures, and service standards are consistently followed
• Reporting operational issues, guest feedback, and team concerns to the Sports and Leisure Manager
• Taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the department during the manager's absenceAbout You:

• Should have 2-year minimum experience in Sports & Leisure in a five-star hotel. Work in a multicultural environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills
• Ability to prepare staff rosters and organize daily workloads
