JOB TITLE

• Store Manager | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Kuwait

ROLE SUMMARY

• The Store Manager - Hypermarket is responsible for leading all store operations to achieve sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
• The role ensures effective stock management, compliance with company standards, people development, and the successful execution of commercial strategies while driving continuous business growth.

ROLE PROFILE

• Lead and execute hypermarket operational and commercial strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while maintaining cost control within approved budgets.
• Monitor commercial performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, replenishment, and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure pricing, promotions, and merchandising standards are implemented according to company guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, safety, and security.
• Develop, coach, and manage department managers and store teams to enhance performance and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within hypermarkets or large-format retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in driving sales and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, people management, and team development skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
