A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen, stewarding, and back-of-house areas
• Washing and properly storing dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Ensuring all cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures are completed accurately and on time
• Supporting kitchen and restaurant operations by supplying clean equipment and utensils as required
• Handling waste disposal and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures
• Assisting with the receiving, storage, and movement of supplies and equipment
• Maintaining proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring it remains clean and serviceable
• Supporting banquet and event operations with setup and breakdown requirements
• Reporting maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

What we need from you

• Previous experience in a stewarding, housekeeping, or food & beverage support role is preferred
• Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks safely
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
