Steward
Are you hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards? We are looking for a Steward who will support kitchen and food & beverage operations by ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized back-of-house environment.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Operating dishwashing machines and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
- Supporting kitchen and F&B teams during service by ensuring timely availability of clean equipment.
- Assisting with garbage disposal and waste segregation as per hotel procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Storing cleaned items properly and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Assisting during banquets and events as required.
- Following hotel SOPs, safety guidelines, and cleanliness standards at all times.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience as a Steward or Kitchen Helper is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and handle cleaning tasks.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Basic communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Honest, reliable, and a good team player.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
