Lucid is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Software Support Engineer to support internal development fleets and customer vehicles in a fastāpaced automotive environment. This role partners closely with software, hardware, validation, and supplier teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex vehicle system issues across development and production environments.
You Will
⢠Provide handsāon technical support for internal development fleet vehicles and customer vehicles.
⢠Operate within a production line and factory environment to support vehicle software and hardware readiness.
⢠Partner closely with software, hardware, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle system issues.
⢠Diagnose and perform rootācause analysis of software and hardware issues using:
⢠Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
⢠Data Identifier (DID) values
⢠Vehicle telemetry data (Grafana)
⢠Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer
⢠Support software and hardware integration, validation, and release activities.
⢠Create, document, and manage issue reports, tracking progress through resolution.
⢠Collaborate with suppliers and crossāfunctional engineering partners to drive timely issue closure.
⢠Participate in an onācall rotation approximately one weekend per month.
⢠Contribute to technical reviews, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You Bring
⢠Bachelorās degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus minimum of 5 years of professional experience post-graduation
⢠Experience with CAN bus systems and vehicle diagnostics.
⢠Strong troubleshooting skills across both software and hardware domains.
⢠Experience supporting automotive systems; EV experience is a plus.
⢠Familiarity with connectivity and infotainment technologies, including LTE, WiāFi, GPS, and InfoT systems.
⢠Background supporting software and hardware development teams in a production or development environment.
⢠Experience collaborating with suppliers and crossāfunctional engineering teams.
⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
⢠Customerāfocused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fastāpaced environment.
⢠Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
⢠Friendly, collaborative team player with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
⢠Experience supporting internal development fleets and customerāfacing vehicle systems.

Requirements
