Wood is recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
This is a key role within the Wood Doha office delivering across study, FEED, EPC and PMC scopes of work.
Reflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and greenfield opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, in particular those with experience in:
- Onshore Oil and Gas

Offshore Oil and Gas
Objective:
•
The preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
•
Responsible for the development of project schedules and plans, ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy and accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards. The Principal Planner shall be responsible for identifying areas of best practise and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.
This is a long-term opportunity with Wood in Qatar.
Requirements
- •Experience in Onshore Oil and Gas
- •Experience in Offshore Oil and Gas
- •Ability to prepare, review, and report accurate project schedules
- •Knowledge of contractual requirements and Wood policies
Responsibilities
- •Develop project schedules and plans to required levels of detail and accuracy
- •Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards
- •Identify areas of best practice
- •Drive continuous improvement within the Planning team
- •Support robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle
