The Senior Director - Precinct Development will be accountable for the end-to-end development leadership of a major Urban Core mixed-use precinct comprising public realm, public spaces, retail, food & beverage, commercial office, lifestyle, civic, mobility, and destination assets.
Acting as the precinct owner on behalf of the client, the role will lead development strategy, business planning, design governance, commercial structuring, stakeholder management, investment readiness, and delivery integration to ensure the precinct achieves its commercial, operational, placemaking, and long-term value creation objectives.
The role requires an experienced development executive capable of balancing commercial outcomes with exceptional urban experiences, creating vibrant, activated destinations that support economic growth, community engagement, and long-term asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the overall development strategy and business plan for a large-scale mixed-use precinct.
• Accountability for development outcomes across the precinct portfolio.
• Establish clear development objectives aligned with Urban Core and wider organisational goals.
• Direct development activities from feasibility through design, procurement, delivery, activation, and operational readiness.
• Drive development decisions that optimise long-term asset value, commercial performance, and placemaking outcomes.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Development, Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- MBA, MSc Real Estate Development, Urban Development, or equivalent highly desirable.Experience
- 20+ years of development experience.
- Minimum 10 years leading major mixed-use, multi-asset developments
- Proven client-side experience managing large-scale multi-asset developments.
- Strong background in development strategy, feasibility, investment planning, and precinct delivery.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant and project teams.
- Significant exposure to large-scale developments in the GCC preferred.
- Experience with giga-projects, sovereign development entities, or master developers highly desirable.
Requirements

- •20+ years of development experience
