About the role
KPMG's Forensic practice is expanding its Ethics & Compliance capability in the UAE. As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a team delivering ethics and compliance solutions to clients — contributing to framework design, investigations, and risk assessments, and producing high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
What our team delivers
- Design, implementation, and enhancement of Ethics & Compliance frameworks
- Compliance transformation initiatives and target operating model design
- Compliance and forensic investigations (e.g. fraud, misconduct)
- Third-party risk management and due diligence processes
- Compliance risk assessments and gap analyses with actionable remediation plans
- Alignment with global and local regulatory requirements across all deliverables
- Insight on emerging compliance risks, enforcement trends, and industry guidance — particularly within the energy and oil & gas sectors
Key responsibilities
- Client delivery: Support the design of compliance frameworks and the execution of investigations, risk assessments, and due diligence processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory standards.
- Project support: Contribute to client engagements with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and quality, and support the mentoring of junior team members.
- Regulatory awareness: Keep up to date with relevant regulations and industry trends to ensure deliverables remain compliant.
- Business development: Help identify opportunities for Ethics & Compliance services and support the preparation of proposals and client materials.
- Internal reporting: Report progress and updates on assignments to the performance manager, team leader, or engagement manager.
Qualifications & experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Forensic, Compliance, or Risk Management
- Exposure to compliance frameworks, investigations, or risk assessment work, ideally in a consulting, advisory, or regulated industry setting
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles
- Progress toward relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFE, CCEP, ICA, or similar) is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plus
- Interest in or exposure to the energy / oil & gas sectors is desirable
Requirements
- •3+ years of relevant experience in Forensic, Compliance, or Risk Management
- •Exposure to compliance frameworks, investigations, or risk assessment work
- •Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills
- •Progress toward relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFE, CCEP, ICA) is an advantage
Nice to Have
- •Arabic language proficiency
- •Interest in or exposure to the energy / oil gas sectors
