Scenic Artist

To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities supporting the Scenic Art Team in carrying out works in any scenic method required, ensuring maintenance and repair to any show sets, in relation to the Company Core Process. This position monitors the day-to-day corrective maintenance of show sets, hardscape or any other visual impact areas, including rides and attractions and the artistic or scenic sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures all show sets are in good condition as per the original design.

• Able to mix and match colors as needed per touch ups and repair

• Able to identify and communicate any defects and contribute ideas on how to resolve them

• Carry out regular reviews of preventative maintenance program

• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and performance standards and are maintained throughout their areas.

• Ensure any service delivery defects are resolved and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their Manager.

• Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze.

• Participate in daily operations alongside their Colleagues setting a positive example.

• Foster a harmonious atmosphere among Colleagues in their area and brings team members together through team activities.

• Supports Manager to all reasonable dealings as needed.

Desirable:

High School Diploma or College Graduate with 2 or more years' experience in

• Automotive Spraying
• Air Brush
• Mural Painting
• Sculpting
• Fiberglass
• Cement Rock Carving
• Texturing
• Graphics Application
• Both Sculpting and Painting Experience
• Understands color theory and color match by eye
• Experience in Mural painting, air brushing, and scenic faux painting
• Vinyl Installation
• Fiberglass layup and finishing, molding methods and practical applications
• Cement mixing, carving, texturing
• Basic carpentry knowledge
• Desire to learn and grow with the department.Essential:
