Meraki Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Worden - Fadace to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and health of all our employees on-site. The Safety Worden will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on best safety practices and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports on safety performance and incidents.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper usage on site.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and implement necessary safety improvements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging safety participation.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and safety briefings effectively.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
