Job Purpose:
To support the development and implementation of risk management strategies and frameworks within Emarat, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks while promoting a culture of risk awareness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the manager in developing and updating key components of the ERM Framework including policies and procedures, roles and responsibilities, risk assessment criteria, and other components.
- Support the manager in identifying strategic risk training needs with regards to risk management practices and ERM activities.
- Support in planning, designing and implementing an overall enterprise-wide risk management process and implementation plan.
- Recommend enhancements to the ERM Framework.
- Coordinate Risk Assessment across departments / sectors.
- Assist Risk owners in the implementation of the risk management process for assessing, treating and reporting of risks.
- Support in developing risk identification and assessment workshops for identifying, analyzing and evaluating risks.
- Review departmental risk registers for completeness and accuracy.
- Support in the development of Emarat’s entity-wide risk register including the top key risks, treatment plans and Key Risk Indicators.
Quality & Excellence Management:
- Assist in completing periodic reviews over the effectiveness of ERM policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor and report the status and the completion percentage of risk treatment plans against the agreed milestones.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Required: Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Relevant professional certification (e.g., CERA, CRM, PRM)
Experience:
- Required: 3-5 years of experience.
- 2-3 years of experience may be considered exceptional for candidates of high caliber.
- Preferred: Proven experience in governance and risk management in an energy company.
Requirements

- •3-5 years of experience (2-3 years for high caliber candidates)
- •Proven experience in governance and risk management in an energy company (preferred)
Nice to Have
