Job Purpose
The job purpose is to onboard potential quality clients with focus on liability products for Emirati & Islamic segment in the assigned region. In addition, the candidate will be required to handle other product offering like Personal loans, Cards, Insurance and other products offered by the bank.
The job holder will also be responsible in managing the relationship and support the client in any service-related matters and onboard Mashreq Gold profile clients.

Key Result Areas
- To proactively drive new-to-bank business to grow Emirati and Islamic business presence
- To maintain close contact and relationship with the clients in a way, which ensures that we remain one of their main banks getting a major share of their wallet.
- To proactively solicit / manage businesses, which meet agreed risk-reward parameters of the unit.
- To deliver agreed liabilities numbers and significant cross-sell of other products of the bank.
- Intra-organization liaison ensuring service delivery to clients.
- To work closely with all product and channel partners from RBG and CIBG and the SME FX team to maximize opportunities provided through regular contacts, feedback, co-ordination, and cross referrals.
- To ensure that the credit risk on account of facilities execution
- To ensure compliance requirements for the relationships are adhered to in line with the banks policies β KYC, AML, account reviews as per risk levels and high value transaction monitoring.
- Self-starter to ensure consistency in productivity and performance.

- The job holder will be operating within well-defined and demarcated business areas and is required to adhere to the policies and guidelines set out in the Bankβs Credit Policy Manual.
- Candidate must effectively / actively liaise with his superiors and direct reports within the business unit to achieve business objectives..

Problem Solving
- Staff attrition tends to be high in entry level sales and hence 1-1 coaching and leadership is required for new joiners to achieve productivity levels.
- Incentives are tracked and paid to staff and assist in any queries.
- Hands on relationship management required to ensure effective and timely delivery of banksβ services / products through proactive interaction across various units.
- Responsible to resolve customer problems/complaints and handling it till final resolution through coordinating with line managers and other channel partners.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
- Cover for the Team Leader during their absence
- Responsible for assisting staff and customers in achieving their goals and objectives
- Strong responsibility for Ethical selling to customers with complete disclosure about the project

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Sales profile that requires confidence, persistence, likeable personality, verbal written skills
- Strong knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking
- Graduate and have experience in Sales & Marketing with 7 - 10 plus years banking sales experience
