Processor – Central Operations

Role Purpose

To validate and process operational transactions, provide support to internal business units and branches, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and process operational transactions in line with approved policies and service standards.
• Provide operational support and assistance to branches and internal business units.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage account identification and closure activities in accordance with applicable guidelines.
• Handle cheque return activities and related operational processes within agreed timelines.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support teams regarding operational documentation and processing requirements.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and respond to business queries in a timely manner.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate operational records.
• Support operational projects, process enhancement initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in monitoring operational controls and ensuring efficient service delivery across the function.Qualifications & Experience

• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking Operations or Transaction Processing.
• Good understanding of banking operations, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
