Overview Of The Role:

• The Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing power products, ensuring all services are performed efficiently and correctly. This role requires up-to-date technical knowledge and the ability to fix issues on the first attempt to meet high customer standards for unit uptime and minimize service-related complaints. The Technician is expected to work independently, communicate effectively with team members, and adopt company-standard procedures and tools to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly, adhering to specifications and standards.
What You Will Do:

General

• Work independently with minimal direction to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Share knowledge with peers and guide team members towards technical excellence.
• Perform service checks during maintenance to ensure trouble-free operation and recommend additional necessary jobs.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
• Accommodate new product knowledge and system functions to enhance service.
• Attend to workshop and field jobs proactively to identify and solve potential issues.
• Ensure effective communication with Foreman/Service Advisor/Service Manager regarding required work.
• Adopt best practices from service manuals and wiring diagrams to prevent rework and maintain high attention to detail.
• Utilize the service checklist and workshop manuals to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Technical proficiency in power generators and engines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English, with Arabic being an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and capability to operate service vehicles.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Technical education or apprenticeship.
• Technician Diploma in Generators or Marine.
• 5-10 years of experience in servicing marine and power generators.
• Proven technical expertise in independent servicing, repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosing technical issues.
