We are hiring an Operations Coordinator / Pavilion Operations Officer (Arabic Speaker) for one of our clients on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile, large-scale operational environment during one of the region's most prominent seasonal events.
The role involves day-to-day on-site supervision of pavilion operations, including access and permit coordination, compliance inspections, emergency response coordination, and administrative and financial reporting support. Candidate’s with strong experience in operations coordination, events, exhibitions, hospitality, customer service, or large-scale venue operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and must be available to work weekends as required.
Contract Duration:
Approximately 7 months, commencing from mid-September 2026 onwards.
Working Schedule:
The role requires 8 working hours per day, six days per week. The schedule will include weekends, and operational coverage will be coordinated with the management team on a rotational basis where required. (Can take rotational 1 day week off in a week on weekdays only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue access cards for participants and employees, as well as entry and exit permits for goods and equipment, in coordination with Global Village management.
- Conduct daily on-site supervision of pavilion operations and ensure all outlets comply with approved opening and closing schedules.
- Carry out regular inspection rounds to monitor participants’ compliance with pavilion and Global Village operational requirements.
- Coordinate directly with Global Village management in emergency situations and follow up on security, cleaning, and overall service quality.
- Arrange emergency maintenance permits and media permits, while supporting participants with their operational requirements and resolving challenges promptly.
- Handle administrative activities, including updating participant and employee records and preparing daily operational status reports.
- Prepare and follow up on daily financial reports and coordinate with Global Village’s approved payment service provider, Noqodi.
- Perform any other operational or administrative duties required to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the pavilion.
Candidates should be fluent Arabic speakers.
