MEP Engineer

Role Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design review, construction supervision, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for the Ajyad Project. The role requires strong technical expertise, site coordination skills, and experience in high-rise developments to ensure all MEP works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and supervise MEP installation works on site to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and clashes.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Saudi codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring MEP activities to meet project milestones.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Identify construction or design issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site observations for management review.
• Support the MEP Manager in achieving overall project objectives related to cost, time, and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant professional membership is preferred.
• 10–12 years of experience in MEP works for high-rise tower projects.
• Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and fast-paced project environment.
