If you are a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Emerson's Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility programs across the Dubai Headquarters and Northern Region operations, including Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar. You will play a key role in fostering a positive safety culture, ensuring regulatory and management system compliance, advancing sustainability initiatives, and supporting operational excellence across manufacturing, warehousing, facilities, and office environments.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Act as the HSE leader for the Dubai Campus, setting benchmarks for operational safety and sustainability excellence across the MEA region.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety and sustainability matters for the facility and supported regions while coordinating global directives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, and applicable legal requirements by developing, implementing, and monitoring annual HSE activity plans across business units and facilities.
• Plan and manage peer safety walkdowns and leadership safety walks across Dubai Campus operations.
• Lead incident investigations involving hazards, near misses, and reportable incidents, ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions across the MEA region.
• Develop and maintain HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, training records, and performance monitoring data.
• Lead the Dubai HSE Committee and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve safety, environmental, and sustainability objectives.
• Oversee permit issuance and compliance processes, conduct safety inductions, and work closely with Facilities teams to review and update risk assessments.
• Lead annual legal compliance assessments and HSE prequalification processes.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness events such as Safety Day and Earth Day to strengthen engagement and safety awareness.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review annual MEA HSE plans to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
• Develop and manage the corporate HSE training plan and training matrix for Emerson MEA.
• Develop and execute sustainability strategies focused on energy efficiency, waste management, and resource conservation.
• Conduct cross-functional safety audits and inspections across MEA operations to ensure compliance with company requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Plan, budget, and coordinate CSR initiatives across the MEA region, partnering with local communities and stakeholders to deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
• Drive automation and digitalization of HSE processes through Power Apps and SharePoint to improve efficiency, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
• Support MEA operations in achieving regulatory and organizational objectives through compliance guidance, customer questionnaires, incident investigations, and procedure development.
• Provide HSE leadership to Northern Region operations, supporting facility expansion and relocation activities while ensuring alignment with MEA HSE standards.
• Coordinate with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen safety culture, regulatory compliance, HSE budgeting, and sustainability initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, or an equivalent field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS function within a large manufacturing organization.
• NEBOSH IGC or a comparable Health, Safety, and Environmental qualification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Membership with IOSH or another internationally recognized occupational health and safety professional body.
• Experience in environmental management programs and initiatives.
• Experience using VelocityEHS or similar EHS management systems.
• Experience supporting sustainability, energy efficiency, waste reduction, or environmental stewardship programs.
