What is FlapKap ?
FlapKap is establishing a private direct financing fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to be
regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The fund will give Saudi SMEs flexible,
growth-focused financing. It supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of strengthening the SME
sector and widening access to finance.

What is this role?
We are looking for a senior leader to build and lead the fund from day one as its Head of Asset Management and Managing Director.
What you will do
- Lead the fund post establishment working with legal, compliance and our group leadership
- Tailor the fund’s investment strategy, credit policy and risk framework for SME direct financing within Saudi market
- Raise capital and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices and strategic partners in the Kingdom
- Oversee portfolio origination, underwriting, monitoring and collections
- Represent the fund before the CMA, the board, investors and other stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with CMA Investment Funds Regulations and the fund’s governance frameworkWhy join us
This is a rare chance to build a CMA-regulated fund from the ground up. You will be backed by FlapKap’s technology, data-driven underwriting and experience in SME financing across the region, and you will help shape SME access to finance in the Kingdom.
The fund is currently under establishment, subject to the approval of the Capital Market Authority.
- At least 10 years of experience in asset management, private credit, direct lending, SME banking or investment banking, with significant experience in the Saudi market
- A proven record of leading teams and managing investment portfolios or funds
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi regulatory environment and CMA regulations
- CMA qualification certificates, or eligibility to be registered as a CMA-registered person in a senior role, are strongly preferred
- Established relationships with Saudi investors, banks and financial institutions
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field; CFA, an MBA or an equivalent qualification is a plus
- Fluency in Arabic and English

Requirements
