Our client is appointing a Director to lead its regional HR Business Partners and raise the quality of people decisions across the business.
The mandate
A team of regional partners covering the Kingdom and the international operations
The quality of people decisions in the business: hiring, probation, structure, capability
First line employee relations in region
Site presence on a published rota
The intake route for every people request from the business
We are looking for
Someone who has genuinely partnered. You can tell a General Manager he is wrong and keep the relationship
The ability to read a business, not only its headcount. Cost, volume, attrition, productivity
Comfort with ambiguity, and with conflict
Willingness to travel to sites, regularly
Arabic and English
One of the interview questions, published in advance: what in your region will become a problem in three months that nobody has noticed yet.
Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged.
Requirements
- •Proven experience in HR Business Partnering
- •Ability to influence senior leadership (General Managers)
- •Strong business acumen (cost, volume, attrition, productivity)
- •Comfort with ambiguity and conflict resolution
- •Willingness to travel to sites regularly
- •Fluent in Arabic and English
Responsibilities
- •Lead a team of regional HR partners covering the Kingdom and international operations
- •Oversee people decisions including hiring, probation, and structure
- •Manage first-line employee relations in the region
- •Act as the intake route for all people requests from the business
- •Improve the quality of people decisions across the business
