We are hiring a Deputy Manager for our two Fashion boutiques in Dubai Airport. The Deputy Manager is managing a team of managers across both boutiques in the dynamic environment of Dubai Duty Free, UAE and reporting to the Boutique Director.
CHANEL continuously evolves in its search for excellence. In a demanding and constantly changing context, the Deputy Manager reports to and acts as a strategic partner to the Boutique Director.
With a creative and constructive mindset, he/she acts as an engaging and inspiring force in driving the business as a whole, guaranteeing the CHANEL Brand image and ensuring the deployment of the Chanel strategy in the boutique.
Combining courageous leadership, ownership and a strong results orientation and business acumen, the Deputy Manager manages a team of Managers, develops each individual’s potential, drives the excellence of the client experience of his/her team and paves the way for success of the boutique on quantitative and qualitative levers.
Your main responsibilities are:
Manage a team of Sales Managers:
• Ensures the teams proper understanding and deployment of the House's strategy.
• Effective management of Sales Managers ensures efficient collaboration and synergies within his team.
• Conveys trust in his/her team members and maximizes the potential of the individual, the Deputy Manager defines the priority actions of individual skills development and monitors them while ensuring regular communication to the Boutique Director on this topic.
• Coaches and mentors his/her team of managers to reach their full potential through prompt feedback on results and competencies.
• Cultivates an environment of psychological safety that encourages open dialogue, trust, and learning, empowering teams to contribute fully, innovate and perform at their highest potential.
Strategic partner to Boutique Director
• Acting as a strategic partner to the Boutique Director on key projects and strategy implementation.
• Acting as key decision maker and significant contributor to projects.
• Handles some key projects in accordance with Boutique Director vision.
• Representing Boutique Director in absence of him/her.
• Building relationships within the retail community to enrich competitor insight and communicates with Boutique Director key information.
• Always ensures his/her position as exemplary representative of the house, embodying the image of the brand.
• Prioritizes long term vision over short-term gains.
• Uses Chanel Brand Equity safeguarding as a filter in decision making.
Driving the business and ensure the ultimate luxury experience
• Ensures excellency in terms of client experience and services, working closely with Client Experience Managers to create and implement effective action plans to enhance our services and remain the Ultimate house of luxury.
• Monitors business indicators on all product categories in collaboration with Operations Manager and works closely with Sales Managers to create and implement effective business action plans.
• Monitors indicators and possess a 360 view of business activity and advise the Boutique Director accordingly.
