Leading hospital in the UAE is offering an opportunity for an experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon with strong expertise in complex abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery. The role involves managing a broad range of elective and emergency surgical cases, working within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to advanced surgical services and patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex visceral and gastrointestinal surgical conditions.
- Perform elective and emergency abdominal surgical procedures.
- Manage conditions involving the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and related organs.
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and surgical planning.
- Support clinical teaching, audits, research, and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in General/Visceral Surgery.
- American Board certified in Surgery or relevant recognized specialty qualification.
- Western-qualified with consultant-level surgical experience.
- Strong experience in visceral, gastrointestinal, or abdominal surgery.
- Experience in a tertiary/advanced hospital environment preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
