We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah, UAE.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in orthopedic surgery, trauma management, joint replacement, and musculoskeletal disorders. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, joint diseases, and orthopedic injuries.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including fracture fixation, joint reconstruction, and arthroscopic surgery, within authorized clinical privileges.
• Evaluate and manage sports injuries, ligament tears, tendon injuries, and degenerative joint conditions.
• Perform hip and knee replacement surgeries, where appropriately trained and credentialed.
• Manage orthopedic trauma cases, including complex fractures and emergency injuries.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and orthopedic team members.
• Ensure compliance with MOHAP regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.

QualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.

• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
• American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic surgery, trauma management, joint replacement, and minimally invasive orthopedic procedures.
• Eligible for the appropriate MOHAP Consultant Orthopedic Surgery classification/license in Sharjah, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements and facility jurisdiction.
