Specialist / Consultant - Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Surgeon | Government Fa

We are seeking a qualified Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Surgeon (Specialist / Consultant) to join a reputable government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide surgical care for gastrointestinal and endocrine conditions, perform appropriate surgical procedures, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes. Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage surgical conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract.
• Perform appropriate procedures involving the stomach, intestines, colon, and other abdominal organs within the scope of expertise.
• Diagnose and manage endocrine surgical conditions involving the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands.
• Develop individualised surgical treatment plans based on patients’ clinical needs.
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Coordinate with gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to patient-safety and clinical governance standards

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in General Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, or an appropriate related surgical specialty.
• Relevant clinical experience in gastrointestinal and endocrine surgery.
• Demonstrated competence in relevant surgical procedures and perioperative management.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing, subject to the relevant authority’s requirements.
