Chest Physician - Specialist / Consultant | UAE Healthcare Jobs

We are seeking an experienced Chest Physician – Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of respiratory and chest-related conditions, providing comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory and chest conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practices.
• Manage conditions including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory infections, interstitial lung disease, pleural disorders, and sleep-related respiratory conditions.
• Perform and interpret relevant pulmonary investigations and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically required.
• Provide consultation for complex respiratory cases and coordinate appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical care in accordance with established healthcare guidelines and policies.

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology, Respiratory Medicine, Chest Medicine, or an equivalent specialty.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant Chest Physician.
• Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Experience managing asthma, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory infections, interstitial lung disease, pleural disorders, and sleep-related respiratory conditions.
• Experience with pulmonary investigations and diagnostic procedures is preferred.
• UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, Canadian, or equivalent Western qualifications are preferred.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
